Hello everyone,
Here is the latest and the greatest...
Alex continues to do well and we have some news for all of you! After careful consideration
and thinking, Alex and family have decided that if everything works out he will be going to Brazil to continue his rehab for
as long as he needs it. One he is done, he plans to come back to the US.
Unfortunately, there's not a lot of options left for him here in the US due to insurance and
the lack of technology/equipment needed for a successful recovery. On a positive note, there is a facility
in Brazil that specializes in spinal cord injures that is known to be one of the best in the world and hopefully that's
where he will go. Not only that, it is also free of charge.
So let's hope that he can get in so that he can get the best rehab possible.
He is scheduled to be discharged from Lucerne Rehab Center this Friday and possibly leave
from Brazil sometime next week...

Visiting hours remain as follow:
Monday - Friday 4pm - 9 pm
Saturday - 2 pm - 9pm
Sunday - All day until 9pm
Located at Lucerne Hospital in the corner of Gore St. & Orange Ave. just
south of Downtown Orlando.
His room number is 416 and we suggest that you ask the receptionist how to get to
the room since it can be a bit confusing at first.
